Surgidac™ polyester sutures are nonabsorbable, sterile surgical sutures composed of polyethylene terephthalate. The tight, uniform braid provides greater resistance to breaking, kink-free suture delivery, and easier needle arming and dispensing
Surgidac™ polyester sutures are nonabsorbable, sterile surgical sutures composed of polyethylene terephthalate. The tight, uniform braid provides greater resistance to breaking, kink-free suture delivery, and easier needle arming and dispensing.
These sutures show high tensile strength, both linear and knotted, providing:
Maximum security in approximation of tissues under stress conditions
Permanent support (tensile strength is retained indefinitely)
Maximum security with prosthetic implants
Surgidac™ sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neural tissue.
